A three-volume, hardcover box set housing the first ten years of Ctrl+Alt+Del, and the adventures of Ethan, Lucas, Lilah, and Zeke!
Of course not really, but I'd be lying if I said this wasn't just a little bit daunting. Between the bookplates, prints and DVDs, but the time the summer is over I will have signed my name fifteen thousand times.
The bookplates turned out really nice, though. Very heavy paper, very swanky.
I'm excited to share with you all a look at the very first physical manifestation of the Ctrl+Alt+Del 1.0 Box Set which will be shipping later this year!
Also, I'm still waiting on 300 people to fill out their Backerkit surveys. The deadline is July 15th, so if you haven't received your survey yet, please message me here so I can get you sorted out by then!
The DVD sets showed up today! Here's a look at the finished product!
The inside flap with the artwork of Ethan and Lilah is where my signature will be.
Disc 1 contains the high-res book PDFs, along with a bunch of extra content: A digital copy of the Applied Education poster, dozens of wallpapers, scripts and model sheets from the Animated Series, etc.
Disc 2 and 3 contain seasons one and two of the animated series respectively. These are authored, so they'll play on your PC or your home DVD player.
This is the final reminder that I will be locking down orders on Wednesday, July 15th. At that time, you will no longer be able to make any changes to your pledge, or add-on any new items.
If you added on any new items, or altered your pledge, your credit card will be charged for the due balance at that time as well.
You will still be able to edit your shipping address, up until I announce that I am locking those down as well.
I've sent out one final round of reminder emails for the 175 of you that still have not responded to the Backerkit Pledge Manager. A large handful of those $1 and $5 pledges with no rewards to worry about, but some have substantial credit that needs to be allocated and shipping addresses provided. If you do not fill out the pledge manager before July 15th, you will be unable to do so on your own and will need to contact me to do it manually.
If you have not answered your Backerkit survey (all 223 of you), you now have one week left to do so. If you haven't gotten any of the email reminders sent thus far, you can message me here, via Kickstarter, and I will get you a direct link to your survey.
So by now you've likely all seen the video I posted showing off the proofs and the dummy set. Everything was in order, the printer has been given approval and I've scheduled the second deposit transfer. Printing on the books is about to officially begin! At this point I pretty much just let them do their thing, and I focus on the two-hundred million other things I have to do.
Most of the Snuggle Bundles are packaged up and ready to ship. After I close orders next week, I'll be able to start organizing and printing shipping labels and getting those out the door, followed immediately by the solo Plushie orders.
The prints, posters, bookmarks, stickers, bookplates and DVD sets are all already in various stages of printing. In fact, I'm expecting some of it to show up this week. After all the Bundles/Plushies are shipped, my next priority is getting the posters out the door.
Then I'll focus on signing thousands of things, hopefully getting those all sorted and packaged and off to the fulfillment centers before the books are arriving. And somewhere within all that, some of the digital download content like the Wallpaper and the Animated Series will be made available via Backerkit. The digital copies of the books will not be posted until the physical copies of the books are shipping.
