New Add-on Poster!

Back in early 2003 I put up for sale the very first of Ctrl+Alt+Del merchandise ever: the 11"x17" Applied Education poster. Limited to 400 sold-out copies, this poster has been all but lost to the ages ever since. In fact, no copy of the original photoshop file still exists. I have only the one physical print I retained for myself all these years:
For our next add-on, I thought it fitting that the very first Ctrl+Alt+Del poster offered also be the very last Ctrl+Alt+Del poster offered from the 1.0 era. So I have remastered the entire thing, updating some panels, and in some cases creating entirely new ones that I feel better reflect the characters as we knew them over that decade.
This 18"x24" poster is now available through our Kickstarter campaign, via a standalone tier, or an Add-On to any other tier. Because of the size and shipping requirements for these posters, they will ship separately from any other reward. As such, individual shipping costs are built in to the Add-On amount. $15 for US backers, $20 for everyone.
This also means that the posters can ship out sooner, since they will not be waiting to be packaged with other rewards. I foresee being able to get these posters into your hands by the end of July, so at least you'll have some goodies while you wait for your books.
I already gave you a sneak peek at one of the panels, and here is that same finished panel fully colored:
I will continue to give you a closer look at some of the other panels as we count down the final week of our campaign!

I have a really great (I think so, anyway) add-on option for our Kickstarter campaign in the works. It also provides some nice symmetry to the overall Ctrl+Alt+Del 1.0 era.
Here's a sneak peek at the work in progress...
Keep your eyes peeled for the reveal soon!
We're halfway to finished, and 80% of the way to extra pages!

We've now got fifteen days left on the campaign, and we're still moving right along! We're closing in on the $400k mark, and then we're in the home stretch to unlock the extended ending for the Ethan and Lucas storyline at $500k. Kickstarter campaigns typically see an upswing of pledges in the final days, and in the meantime I'm also working on a couple more add-ons to help get us there.
However, the schedule on my side of things has sort of been flipped on its head. Generally, a printer won't start working on your project until you can give them their deposit (typically 1/3 of the overall project cost).
I've spoken to the printer we'll be using, and due to the unique nature of this project and the very obvious success of the Kickstarter, they are willing to begin working on the proofs immediately, sans deposit.
I'd been thinking I had 4 more weeks before I had to turn over the files (two for the KS campaign, two for funds to be released to me), and had planned more proofreading, more passes to check for commentary opportunities, etc. But the possibility of shaving weeks off our delivery estimate is too good to pass up.
So essentially, all of that final proofreading, etc I had planned has been moved to the front of the line now. 100% of my efforts this week will be devoted to getting the majority of these files over to the printer, so that they can start working on them and prepping them for press.
I want to be clear that this should not be taken as any sort of a guarantee that the books will ship earlier, but it certainly can't hurt our chances!

Hey everyone! We're slowly creeping up on the campaign's halfway point here, and we're still doing great. We have nineteen days left to reach $500k, at which point I will add a bunch of new pages to the book 2 of the set, and fill those pages with additional ending to the Ethan and Lucas storyline!
I'm continuing to work on some new add-ons and pledge tiers to give you guys as many options as possible.
I've opened up another ten spots for the Box Set Cameo Edition, which scores you an appearance in a future Ctrl+Alt+Del property of your choice! You can pop up in Analog and D-Pad, The Starcaster Chronicles, The Campaign, or just a regular gaming one-shot if you prefer.
These additional cameo spots will be fulfilled only after the original ten are completed. I'll be working on getting everyone their cameos as quickly as possible after the campaign closes.
I've also added a pledge tier in which I will create, from scratch, an RPG character for a tabletop system of your choice. I will pick the race, the class, roll the stats, give him a name and a ridiculous backstory/personality, and then draw a portrait of the character. You'll receive a signed copy, and can proceed to use this character in a future game. Will they fumble their way to epic victory, or bring about the death of their entire party with their clumsiness? Only you can find out for sure!
Alternatively, if you already have an RPG character you love and play already, I can just draw a portrait of him/her/it for you based on your direction.
Also, If you require more bookmarks, you can now add additional sets to your pledge for $5 each.
Final Stretch Goals

I've now posted the last two stretch goals for this campaign.
First up, the bookmarks. These are pretty straightforward, so I thought "Why not give you a different one for each book?" After all, these are pretty hefty tomes, and we wouldn't want you to dog-ear the pages to hold your place.
These are double-sided, glossy, and rectangular in nature. I'm no bookmark aficionado, but they'll do the trick.
This is it. The final stretch goal. These are the Cubans, baby. This is the Cohibas, the Montecristos. This is a kinetic-kill, side-winder vehicle with a-- wait, no. Slipped into a Justin Hammer speech there.
This is the most I have to offer here. I will add an additional 8 pages to Book Two of the Box Set. On those eight pages will be an extended ending sequence for the original Ethan and Lucas story line. What I always imagined in my head happened after Ethan pressed that button, after what I already showed you, put down on paper.
This'll be an interesting month ;)
